Bridging the Tamar Visitor & Learning Centre

Bridging the Tamar: Heritage and STEAM Discovery Centre

The Bridging the Tamar Visitor and Learning Centre interprets the heritage of both the 20th century Tamar Bridge and Brunel’s iconic 19th century Royal Albert Bridge.

The interactive exhibition space and a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) learning and events programme brings the bridges to life for school children, teachers, lifelong learners, locals and tourists alike.

Visited the centre while on holiday. Easy to find just before the bridge starts on the Devon side. Parking easily accessible and free entry. Lots to look at inside, informative displays, photos, film area with seating, bridge models to build, CCTV screens and drone footage to view, drawing and colouring along with clothes to dress up in. I highly recommend a visit here for any age
