The Park is currently home to two Red pandas. Jai-Li, who is 14 years old and arrived in 2012 to join the Park’s then male called ‘Lang Za’. They had twin boys in 2013, two girls in 2014 and finally one boy called Koda in 2015. Jai Li’s companion is ‘Suri’ who is 10 years old and is a little more shy.

In the last ten years, Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary has donated £20,720 to the Red Panda Network. The money was split between two projects in Nepal. The ‘Red Panda Protected Forest’ which established the world’s first protected area dedicated to Red Pandas, and the ‘Plant A Red Panda Home’ campaign where the Park’s donation has planted 14,170 trees!
